Accountemps has ongoing opportunities for sharp-minded Billing Assistants in the Orange County Billing Assistants generally are responsible for processing invoices and getting approval for payments from appropriate authorizers. Other duties include but are not limited to: Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling Produce full-cycle A/P Data entry into Sage accounting software for approval by controller Provide support to internal business partners Complete special projects on an as-needed basis Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed Interested candidates should email their resume to , then call us to discuss at

The ideal Billing Assistant candidate will have 3+ years of experience. Associates or Bachelors strongly preferred (in some kind of business related field). Other requirements include: Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities Prior experience in an A/P role preferred Spreadsheet and database capabilities Strong familiarity with Accounting Software Knowledge of billing Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
