The Role:

The Billing and AR Specialist manages the billing process including the creation of invoices, credit notes, and other client financial documents. Additionally, the position is responsible for reviewing contracts and reconciliations.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage day-to-day global billing including processing customer and partner invoices, and answering billing inquiries;

  • Manage and create monthly A/R process and reporting.

  • Ensure that client contracts have been entered correctly by BDO and billed accurately and on time.

  • Work closely with Business Development, Directors of business units and Clinical Project Managers to address internal billing inquiries and troubleshoot billing matters.

  • Manage PTC invoicing and reporting, create efficiencies with the NetSuite initiative.

  • Making client calls per past due invoice and AR policy.

  • Assist with client monthly and quarterly financial estimates.

  • Coordinate with staff accountant on billing.

  • Adhere to all aspects of Ora's quality system.

  • Adhere to all essential systems and processes that are required at Ora to maintain compliance to Ora's data integrity & business ethics and regulatory requirements.

What We Look For:

  • Experience needed for the Role:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting other related, scientific field

  • 3 years of experience in a professional service industry

  • Additional Skills and Attributes:

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems required; NetSuite

  • Knowledge base of A/R management &

  • Interaction working with Senior Management to continuously reduce and watch A/R.

  • Strong customer service practices and skills

Benefit Eligibility: Full-time employees of Ora working a minimum of 30 hours per week. Our per diem workforce is eligible for Medical and Dental coverage once they have hit 6 months of service and work an average of 30 hours per week.
