Bill Of Material / Parts Administrator

The Bill of Material / Parts Administrator at Aqua-Chem will work with the engineering design department in the creation of Bill of Materials (BOM)s and parts management within the business system.

Schedule: Monday

• Friday, 8:00am

• 5:00pm

Location: On-site; Knoxville, TN

Pay Range: $23.00-27.00/hr, Dependent on Experience

Essential Duties

• Entry of part numbers and Bill of Materials into the new business system

• Identify parts that may have duplicates within the system and correcting

• Track and release Engineering Change Orders within the business system

• Ensure that replicate parts are not created within the business system while managing the entry of new and existing part numbers.

• Maintain consistency and accuracy of part numbers within the system

• Data entry of part numbers that have not been created within the new system, but can be located in the old system when identified

• Other duties a assigned by the engineering department.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Experience

• Familiarity with technical drawings

• Experience filing and managing database

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Business Systems, and/or other computer aided software.
