Overview
Are you ready to be part of a team who is passionate about making a difference helping children, families and our communities? At Seneca, we are looking for a Bilingual Therapist for our Wraparound Services team.
Now offering a $2000 sign-on bonus for new employees!
As a Bilingual Therapist you will be responsible for providing culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed, and family-centered services and planning for children who are referred through social services, probation, post-adoption services or the San Jose Unified School District. The children and families that we served are in the process of stepping down from institutional into family or family-like settings. Services will be provided almost exclusively in the community in families' homes, group homes, foster homes, schools, etc. The primary role is to ensure that all parties are working together toward stability for the child and family. Therapists engage clients in meaningful and authentic relationships while providing a safe, predictable, and positive environment that aligns with our clients' values and cultures.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Seneca offers "Wraparound" services to children and youth at risk of placement in a high-level residential treatments or juvenile hall, and to their families. The Wraparound programs are strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, with the goal of helping the family develop the skills and supports to prevent or reduce the possibility of residential placement of their child. A family-based team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the at-risk child. This consists of family members, Seneca's Clinicians, Facilitators, Youth Counselors, Parent Partners and other community members who have an important role in the family.
