The Home for Little Wanderers Clinical Quality and Outcomes Department, located in Brighton, MA is looking for an English/Spanish bilingual professional with excellent communication skills for a part-time (five hours per week) position. The bilingual interviewer will assist with structured phone interviews and data collection in support of an ongoing research project.
Essential Functions include:
Conduct phone interviews with young adults, state caseworkers, and parents/caregivers in English and Spanish.
Create interview packets based on information from client consent forms.
Translate English interview questions into Spanish.
Maintain records in paper and electronic systems.
Organize, sort, and file paperwork.
Upload consent forms to an electronic health record.
Access client information in an electronic health record.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:
Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
Bachelor's degree required; graduate education and/or research experience preferred.
Experience with working with confidential information.
Experience with the child welfare and/or behavioral health systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required; familiarity with SPSS preferred.
Standard office setting. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. May spend extended periods on the telephone, at the computer terminal or operating other office machines, requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.
