Bilingual Spanish Clerk II, WIC (Hunstville)

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent and one year related experience.

JOB SUMMARY:

To perform a variety of responsible clerical tasks utilizing knowledge of office systems and

procedures.

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

• Performs varied and complex clerical tasks.

• Photocopies materials and compiles as needed.

• Distributes materials internally or to other departments which may require walking across

campus.

• Makes appointments, screens visitors, and answers the telephone.

• Inputs data for reports, and completes routine office forms.

• Adheres to internal controls established for department.

• Performs related duties as required.

Preferred:

Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required

Travel/Float:

Yes, position requires travel for training and coverage and thus, candidate must be willing to travel.

Shift:

Nights and weekends possible. Must be willing to work until at least 6 pm for clinic hours, with flexibility if client needs require later or weekends.
