POSITION: Bilingual Secondary Math Teacher (2 Positions) - 1.0 FTE

SCHEDULE: 2024 - 2025 School Year
SALARY: Based on the 2024 - 2025 Teacher Salary Schedule

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with applicable endorsements
Bilingual/Biliterate (Spanish/English)
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
Willingness to participate in sheltered training such as Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD)
Ability and willingness to work toward improving student achievement based on state and national standards, school improvement plan, and all other state requirements
Ability and willingness to participate in required trainings and professional development opportunities
Demonstrate a core belief system that matches the guiding principles and vision/mission of the school and be willing to operate accordingly
Willingness to work with a system that allows for peer collaboration and student intervention within the workday
Willingness to implement best practice strategies for student learning and interventions
Willingness to participate collaboratively with staff members for the purpose of improving student learning including cross grade level and grade level partners
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)
Previous successful classroom teaching experience
Training in SIOP/Project GLAD
Multilingual teaching experience or ELL Endorsement
