As a Bilingual School Therapist, you will support a small caseload of students and families with therapy, case management, and consultation services at grades K-6 at Ford Elementarty. The Bilingual School Therapist delivers outstanding therapeutic and case-management services, including conducting mental health assessments and implementing individual behavioral plans. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school leadership to ensure the success of youth and families in a district school setting.

Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with a trans-disciplinary team to implement academic, behavioral, and therapeutic services for students in need of intervention.
Implement research-based interventions aligned with the three tiers of the MTSS pyramid, including individual, group, and family therapy as well as case management for identified students.
Provide coaching and professional development to support school staff in experiencing success with all students.
Engage caregivers in the educational process, providing frequent opportunities to discuss student growth and needs.
Consult school staff on safety assessments, mental health crises, and accessing social services.
Document interventions and provide necessary reports on student progress.
Participate in regular supervision to enhance practice.
Qualifications
Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, professional clinical counseling, or psychology
Eligible to register with the California BBS
Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency is requiered
Experience working with youth in a mental health or education setting is strongly preferred
TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
Valid driver's license
TB test clearance, fingerprints, and COVID-19 vaccination
Schedule
School based schedule:
Monday to Friday: 8 AM- 4 PM
5 weeks of paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and additional paid school break days
Benefits
Starting at $73,374- $87,374 per year, with actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role
$3000 sign-on bonus (for new Seneca employees in this position)
$4000 salary increase upon licensure
