The ideal candidate will be a key executive developer of, and contributor to, innovative strategic solutions in support of a variety of federally and locally funded programs. The candidate must possess a thorough and substantive, experience-based understanding of the principles and priorities of public sector administration and management, and have an extensive understanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to grants management, design and construction management, and economic development. Qualifications OPTION I * Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Urban Planning or closely related field. * A minimum of seven (7) years of experience comparable to the duties of a Manager I within CDC/HACoLA, performing professional level duties involving CDBG federal government program management, procurement, budget, contract administration, planning, development and regulatory issues, with knowledge and understanding of policies and practices governing economic and community development. * Three to five (3-5) years of supervisory experience is required. OPTION II * Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Urban Planning or closely related field. * A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the areas of CDBG federal government program management, procurement, budget, contract administration, planning, development, and regulatory issues, with knowledge and understanding of policies and practices governing economic and community development. * Three to five (3-5) years of supervisory experience is required.
