POSITION: Bilingual Receptionist/Translator and Interpreter

LOCATION: Salina, KS

TERM:

261-day

40hours per week

Monday through Friday: 7:30am to 4:30pm with an hour lunch break

DESCRIPTION:

The Bilingual (Spanish) Receptionist is the first point of contact at Heartland Early Education and is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our children, families, and community. This includes answering/directing phone calls, welcoming guests, and performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Translator/Interpreter, you will provide written translation for documents, flyers, etc. and/or oral interpretation for the program.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in administrative support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Knowledge of operating standard office equipment. Knowledge of databases. Ability to write, speak and interact clearly and professionally. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. Bilingual - fluent in both English and Spanish (read, speak, write).

SALARY:

Classified Placement Schedule

• Range 11.

Pay range is $14.12 to $14.97/hr (based on experience).

• Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal History Investigation with fingerprinting

• State of Kansas Criminal History Investigation (KBI) with fingerprinting

• Child Abuse and Neglect Registry Check

• National Sex Offender Registry Check
