Bilingual Preschool Teacher - Spanish/English

• Nestled in Montgomery Village, conveniently serving upper Montgomery County; Germantown, Montgomery Village, Clarksburg, and Goshen areas · Greenwood/Hyattsville

• Conveniently located minutes from the Beltway in the heart of Potomac Village, right on River Road with access to bus stops This position is full-time, and the hours are Monday

• Friday, 9am-6pm. Your role will be to meet our students' individual needs and foster each child's independence in a family-like environment of trust and warmth.
  
  The pay rate for this role is $21 - $25 an hour based on your experience and credentials. Requirements: What You Will Do: · Provide for the educational needs and interests of preschool children using a bilingual and age-appropriate curriculum · Supervision of preschool children to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of all students · Support the physical, socio-emotional, and developmental needs of each child in the classroom Educational Require adership, communication skills, and positive interpersonal relations with children, families, colleagues, eand community · Classroom management that fosters a consistent, safe, and positive learning environment for all students and staff Educational Requirements/Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of preschool experience and the following credentials/skills: · Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education (ECE) or a Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field the MSDE 90hr Preschool Certification . · Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)/ Fluidez en Español e Ingles tanto en expresion verbal como en lectura y escritura · Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and instructional strategies · Strong knowledge of MSDE regulations · A personal demeanor that is warm, friendly, and cool-tempered · Proficient technological skills including Microsoft Office is a plus · Extremely reliable in attendance and punctuality · Highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task · Team-oriented and willing to work with others Per Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all applicants must submit to and successfully pass a state and federal background check as a contingency of employment.
