Troon Corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a full-time Bilingual Payroll Clerk. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment, be comfortable handling large amount of data, and provide payroll support to our payroll team.

General Purpose:

Entry-level position to provide administrative support to the payroll team.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for accurate daily processing of new hires into the HRIS system

  • Run applicable daily reports and distribute to the payroll specialist team

  • Assist with daily and weekly check sorting and distribution

  • Garnishment processing to include, child support orders, tax levies, etc.

  • Sort and process the physical mail

  • Provide Spanish translation for various employee and customer service inquiries

  • Provide tier 1 support for employee inquiries

  • Research and resolves payroll related inquiries from employees and management

  • Demonstrate strong focus on teamwork and initiatives as well as manage independent workload

  • Regular and reliable attendance

  • Assist with other tasks and initiatives as they arise

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree required.

Experience working with high volume data entry preferred.

Some Knowledge or understanding of payroll is preferred but not required

  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

  • Customer service skills a must.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to self-direct and take ownership in problem resolution.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Exceptional organization skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (including proficiency in Microsoft Excel).
