As the Trainer Associate, you will be responsible for delivering training within a specialized function. In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct training for the Optum HouseCalls business in a virtual setting.
This position may require up to 15% of travel.
Primary Responsibilities:
Positions in this function are responsible for training within the HouseCalls program. May also be involved in the design and development of training material.
Demonstrate working knowledge of applicable operational platforms (e.g., workflows, procedures, systems) to drive effective training
Demonstrate understanding of impacts of the applicable operational processes including their impact on customers/consumers/providers
Demonstrate understanding of applicable business structures and strategies (e.g., business segments, Benefits vs. Services, interrelationships)
Identify and leverage appropriate internal resources to address issues that may impact the learning process (e.g., systems access, facilities access)
Prepare for and support effective course facilitation
Maintain and apply effective facilitation skills
Manage/support the learning environment
Measure & enhance learning effectiveness

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience
Required Qualifications:
2 + years of work experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft programs, specifically PowerPoint , Word and Teams
Excellent written and verbal communications skills to effectively present training content and communicate with trainees
Ability to utilize multiple systems (presentation software, demonstrate operational systems, monitor chat) while training
Located in either the MST/PST time zones
Bilingual Spanish/English
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with education tracking databases or learning management systems (ie: Oracle Learn)
Understanding of the Optum HouseCalls business structures and strategies 2+ years of corporate training facilitation experience
Adult learning theory knowledge gained through work experience or education
Proficient in Teams or similar virtual meeting platforms

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
