EDUCATION: Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.

AND

Sixty (60) hours of credit from an accredited college or university preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of successful bilingual work experience. Work experience within an educational, or related, setting is preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess demonstrated proficiency in translating/interpreting to and from English and Spanish/Creole or other required language.

Ability to use judgment to make minor decisions and to perform repetitive and routine duties. Computer skills as required for the position.

Must have passing test scores: Computer Keyboard Skills: Speed-40; Accuracy-70

Salary Range: $34,504 - $52,891

Calendar: 247/248

Pay Grade: 15

NOTE: New Hires will be hired at the Minimum of the assigned Salary Range
