As a Big Data Engineering Lead, your mission is to provide data architecture and solution for CCBRFT data pipeline. The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise data architecture, data management and data governance experiences, deep data domain knowledge in banking industry, hands-on experience in data modeling (UML and/or ER), hands-on experience in designing and developing data driven solutions; excellent communication and presentation skills in front of various stakeholders on executive level. You will work closely with Risk Modelers and data pipeline onboarding teams to support and implement high-quality, data-driven Risk and Finance data solutions. You will own the product roadmap of CCBRFT data inventory, lead and drive CCBRFT DRB (Data Review Board), lead the data model team to ensure data models are of high quality across risk modeling and loss forecast, strategy and decisioning, fraud, and finance areas. Working with CT Central Information Architecture team in the various data management programs (data centric SDLC, boundary sets, and centralized record management program).

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

  • Proficiency in modern programming languages

  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

  • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise platforms in Python using Big Data tools and technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala, Cassandra)

  • Strong Object Oriented Programming skills (in either Python, Scala or Java)

  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau and/or Qlikview

  • Experience with modern UI technologies (e.g. AngularJS, React)

  • Hands-on experience in designing, developing data warehousing systems

  • Hands-on experience in ERwin or MagicDraw (or any other prevailing data modeling tools

  • In-depth knowledge in banking industry and specialized in a few products, business capabilities or processes

The group is responsible for the execution and delivery against the Firm's regulatory reporting requirements to its U.S. regulators. The team has end-to-end responsibility for US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing, including the design, implementation, and oversight of the execution, analysis, control and governance frameworks. Its mandate includes determining the appropriate investment in people, processes and technology to improve the accuracy, completeness and consistency of the Firm's US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing submissions, as well as the implementation of new requirements and guidelines as they are published. The objectives of the FRRA Team are to provide leadership on all aspects of US regulatory reporting and Firmwide capital stress-testing, including both internal and regulatory requirements. Position Overview: The Finance Data Operations Associate is responsible for preparation and/or oversight of selected footnotes for inclusion in the consolidated quarterly financial statements for JPMorgan Chase & Co. and JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., as well as other disclosures such as Call Report, FR Y-9C, etc. Functions of this role involve requesting, consolidating, analyzing, validating and reporting financial data while adhering to Sarbanes-Oxley 404 and internal control and documentation standards. The candidate will also be responsible for continuing to enhance the controls and efficiency over the financial reporting processes which may include the identification and resolution of issues/errors, tracking and resolution of data quality issues and process improvements to reduce cycle time. Additionally, this role requires the individual to: * Participate in and oversee various aspects of the production and review of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports filed with various regulatory agencies. Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness. * Perform quarter-over-quarter variance consolidation and review. * Develop and implement various control procedures and edit checks to ensure the integrity of reported financial results. * Maintain familiarity of accounting pronouncements and disclosure requirements.
