This position is responsible for analyzing and processing competitive project requests. The primary emphasis is on maintaining profitability, competitiveness and compliance with sound business practices and internal pricing policies.
Competitive analysis of requests, which includes detailed discussions with the Allsteel Field Sales team as well as the Allsteel dealer network.
Financial analysis of bid requests, which includes detailed project profit and loss analysis.
Consult with the field on value engineering opportunities.
Present completed pricing analysis and recommendations to management in a clear and factual manner.
Maintain a professional and open relationship with all departments within Allsteel.
Ensure that all bid requests are legitimate, accurate, and complete.
Ensure that all bid requests follow the chain of approval as outlined by all internal company policies.
Maintain, continually update and expand a high level of product knowledge for Allsteel competitive products, competitive price pressure, and competitive Government pricing contracts (GSA).
