JOB REQUIREMENTS: BID COORDINATOR - 1st Shift - $15.00+/hour (Opportunity for Advancement) A critical position as part of our contract sales team to gather and manage information to enable the company to make bidding and sales decisions.

Located in Oshkosh, WI. Position: Full-Time, Monday

  • Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

    Communication, internet, spread sheet, and familiarity with blue prints & specifications desired, but not required.

    Duties & Responsibilities: Compile all invitations-to-bid. Preliminary scope projects for general size, materials required, and construction schedules.

    Download construction documents and occasionally print them. Attend bid and sales meetings on a regular basis. Communicate with company estimators and salesmen to distribute pertinent job information.

    Field phone calls and contact customers to coordinate bid project information and dates. For Immediate consideration

VIEW JOBS 11/8/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-06T00:00 Summary Job Description As a Long-Term Care Claims Coordinator, you will provide consultation and guidance to Claimants, Family Members, Third Party Authorized Individuals, and Financial Professionals on new Long-Term Care (LTC) claims. As the primary point of contact and relationship manager for the claim, you will own the life cycle of the claim from initial claim submission to claim decision communication. You will educate Claimants on benefit eligibility triggers and whether those triggers are being met in addition to helping members to understand what benefits are contained within their contract. In addition, you will work on behalf of the member to provide outreach to care providers to obtain any documentation that is necessary to support the claim. As a Claims Coordinator, you will lead all communication with the Claimant seeking to build a positive relationship- based experience and serving as a guide to navigate the complexity of the long-term care arena. The guidance that is provided will vary depending on the needs of the insured and every claim is unique. You will be trained to recognize benefit eligibility and assertively communicate with the Claimant about whether their current care needs meet contract eligibility requirements, and when they do not. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Quickly interpret multiple contract variations and assess whether current care needs meet benefit eligibility requirements. * Compassionately and assertively communicate claim decisions with people who may be impaired or dealing with difficult life circumstances. * Own the life cycle of each claim to service standards, working closely with Claimants, Family Members, Third Party Authorized Individuals, Providers, Financial Professionals, and LTC Examiners by demonstrating an ownership mentality and a sense of urgency to ensure timely claim processing. * Lead communications with Financial Professionals, Care Providers, Claims Examiners, and the Claimant themselves to ensure an efficient, positive, well-coordinated claims experience. * Provide support to Claims Examiners by collecting any benefit eligibility documentation and utilizing sound decision-making skills to resolve what is needed, and from whom as each claim can be different. * Think quickly on the spot to provide a reasonable level of assurance of benefit eligibility and can effectively articulate that a claim approval will be based on the care being received. * Expertly recognizes a claim that meets specific criteria for fast-tracking to ensure swift delivery of any benefits payable to members. * Provide leadership, creative solutions, and flexibility by actively partnering in the ongoing evolution of this new role. * This position will encounter cases of varying complexity. Decisions can have long-term impact to members as potential exists for negative financial impacts if not properly executed. * Directly influence others without authority to complete the necessary actions that can ultimately impact the claim review. Each action can have a significant impact on the member's perception of the organization and the products they own. Advocate for the member with all parties involved. * Possess a proven ability to work without close supervision and exercise independent judgement and problem-solving. Solutions developed can have long-term impact to the member, either positive or negative. * Extremely comfortable working in the grey, exhibit flexibility and be able to adapt quickly. Critical thinking to identify problems and quickly solve as well as pull tools from a toolbox to fit the situation. Speed is required to access the current situation on the call and review the contract for claim eligibility. * Exhibit ability to autonomously handle his/her work flow, raise concerns with the process and collaborate with a team to design the best and most effective experience for our members. * A willingness to have conversations when necessary and handle frustrated callers with a calm approach and appropriate responses is necessary. Required Job Qualifications * High school diploma required; college degree preferred. * Minimum of 2 years' experience in the insurance or financial services industry. Knowledge of the health care or long-term care industry preferred. * Positive demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service; someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of professionalism. * Effective social, analytical, and negotiation abilities required. * Ability to create and maintain strong and effective business relationships. * Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of internal and external parties. * Ability to adapt to new technology quickly. * Strong organization and prioritization skills. * Ability to quickly adapt to a changing and dynamic environment. * Strong work ethic and ability to work with a sense of urgency. * Individual takes ownership for cases and acts with high accountability. * Individual directly influences without authority and partners with others in the department to complete tasks.
