Overview

Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Waxahachie, TX is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty openings in the Practical Theology Department.

Position Description: Teach adjunct undergraduate and graduate level courses in Bible/Theology, both online and on-campus.

Time Frame

Start Date: August 2024

Responsibilities

Prepare and oversee the delivery of undergraduate and graduate level courses in Bible and Theology in online and on-campus modes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• A degree in a Bible and/or Theology field with sufficient courses in Bible/Theology to be able to teach undergraduate Bible courses from a college, seminary, or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university. A terminal degree is required to teach graduate level courses.

• A commitment to academic excellence and spiritual vitality.

• Faith, mission and community lifestyle standards that meet University expectations.

• Willingness to embrace and support SAGU's core values of servant leadership.

• Ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God and active engagement in the local church.
