Position Summary

The Business Intelligence Product Manager will be responsible for driving the development and execution of our business intelligence (BI) product strategy, roadmap, and feature definition. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, development, and all business departments to deliver quality BI products and drive business growth.

Position Responsibilities

BI Roadmap & Business Relationship

  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap for our BI offerings, ensuring alignment with the company and departmental strategy and goals;

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requests and business requirements;

  • Develop close communication with the leadership of one or more business departments. Understand their pain points around reporting and data and address them by creating creative solutions;

  • Facilitate training sessions for new products and overall use of our BI tool;

  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and evangelize the value of BI across the organization.

Project Delivery & Technical collaboration

  • Develop detailed user stories, product requirements, and specifications for new features and enhancements.

  • Work closely with the engineering and development team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product releases.

  • Facilitate user acceptance testing for all new products and enhancements.

  • Maintain portfolio of projects from request through delivery and regularly communicate status and changes to key stakeholders and other members of the BI team.

Products and Project Portfolio Management

  • Own the catalogue of BI Product for one or more business departments including:

  • Update the catalogue with new products;

  • Seek opportunities for catalogue rationalization and product discontinuing.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in BI technologies to ensure our products remain cutting-edge and competitive.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or STEM field;

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product/project management, with a focus on business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields;

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment;

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions;

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a strong focus on results.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling Technology Projects or BI / analytical projects;

  • Familiar with BI technologies, data warehousing, data visualization, and analytics tools.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience working in agile development environments and using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Hive).

  • Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and data manipulation and Advanced knowledge of Excel;

  • Supply Chain and Logistic Experience.
