Position Overview

We are currently seeking a bright, enthusiastic Marketing Associate to join our Global Marketing team in Miami! You will play a key role in the production and delivery of marketing collateral for the International Sales teams covering the Americas (Miami, New York, and Chile).

Using MAC platforms, InDesign, and other software, you'll be producing and updating fund commentaries and other fund materials, and uploading content across multiple websites.

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include, but not Limited to

  • Maintain standard monthly pitchbooks for key focus funds. Manage the day to day pitchbook process and ensure that the standard pitchbooks are updated on a regular and timely basis. Respond to ad-hoc requests for presentation content - Work in partnership with the channel marketing, product specialists to create tailored presentations for specific Client Meetings or Events. Work with the sales team/product specialists/affiliates to constantly enhance the content of the standard materials and to create new slide content for new and existing funds

  • Manage quarterly webcast presentation content

  • Analyze financial data, statistics and financial events and download information from third party databases to illustrate the key messages (Bloomberg, Lipper, Morningstar etc.)

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry, competitor, company and fund developments to position our funds appropriately and identify any changes that need to be made to materials

  • Upload marketing materials to LM Applications

  • Assist in other marketing related activities and efforts

  • Support the Head of European Channel Marketing and Americas Int`l cross border initiatives, as required.

  • Partner with the compliance department to develop and maintain knowledge of regional regulations related to financial services

  • Provide insight into marketing developments both internal and external to maximise efficiencies

Ideal Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

  • 5-7 years experience in asset management

  • A deep interest in mutual funds and financial products

  • Excellent understanding of compliance requirements

  • Expertise in PowerPoint; able to use diagrams, charts and graphs to communicate data effectively and informatively

  • Experience creating investment marketing materials for an asset management firm

  • Familiar with industry jargon; ability to communicate complex message effectively

  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy

  • Proofreading experience

  • Strategic thinker

The team is aligned, co-located, and dedicated to specific Wealth Management business groups with the goal of transforming the user experience in order to drive profitability, through awareness and engagement of our new technology platforms. As part of the BTO team you will be expected drive positive change through awareness and adoption of the technology solutions available. As a technology product specialist, you will be expected to take ownership of a group of clients, consisting of front-office wealth management professionals. Your role will be to guide them on their daily journeys through the use of new proprietary technology, and educate them on its benefits. The ideal candidate for this role has experience as a client-facing wealth management professional such as a banker, investor or financial advisor, and has a deep understanding of their day-to-day functions. Moreover, this candidate should have a keen interest in technology with the drive to become a subject matter expert. A successful candidate is passionate about technology and wealth management and who is a motivated self-starter. This person will ultimately drive full adoption of the new technology platforms across their client coverage universe. Key Responsibilities * Create excitement around new technology using exceptional communication skills and technology knowledge * Consistently keeping up-to-date with new tech product enhancements * Initiate and deliver in-person individual and classroom style client training leveraging knowledge of their business focus and with the goal of driving clients to become adopters of new technology * Own the day-to-day individual relationships with assigned clients * Responsible for teaching assigned clients how to best complete their work using the new technology solutions available for the purpose * Proactively recommend optimized technology solutions when and where appropriate * Facilitate client interactions using Adobe Connect, Webex, Skype, or other virtual communication tools, whenever in person interaction is not possible * Accountable for achieving given adoption targets * Continuously enhance your personal training instructional delivery and presentation skills * Responsible for the timely and appropriate reporting of actual and suspected technology solution defects * Responsible for the timely and appropriate reporting of training content defects Qualifications This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * Must be fluent in Spanish and Portuguese (preferred) * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience * Ability to recognize, and communicate, ways to leverage technologies to enhance business practice, efficiency, time management, and communication systems * Wealth Management business experience — prior training experience, or experience working as, or closely with, front office professionals is preferred (financial/client advisor, investor, banker, etc.) * Ability to present with impact, and facilitate in-person, and virtual learning sessions * Excellent oral and written communication skills — demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely * Strong time management, organization, and presentation skills * Must be detail-oriented, flexible, self-directed, and able to work independently Jpmorgan Chase & Co.
