We are looking for application architects who want to dive into our application stack and get on a team of innovators who are taking it to the next level. You need to bring a solid track record of not only building applications from the ground up but also enhancing an existing core. We challenge our developers to explore and exploit technology faster than others. You will have the opportunity to work in small but complete teams that have total ownership of applications and modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and develops complex database structures to be used by BI tools

  • Designs, develops and deploys data visualizations solutions

  • Produces on-demand ad-hoc reports

  • Works with .Net application development teams to ensure seamless integration of BI solutions within the web-based application

  • Writes and reviews technical specifications and other forms of documentation

  • Innovates using tools and processes that simplify and expedite achieving development goals

  • Collaborates with other technical teams (DevOps, Database, QA Testers, Analysts) to ensure successful delivery of projects from testing to integration to deployment using an agile approach

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline from US accredited institution

  • Proficient knowledge MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and T-SQL

  • Basic knowledge of SQL SSIS and SSRS

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Background in data warehouse design and data mining

  • 2+ years of experience with BI tools, preferably Power BI, Tableau and Qlik

  • Basic knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified: MS SQL Server, Database Development, BI Development, and/or Data Management & Analytics

  • Application development or functional experience with asset management, logistics, reliability centered maintenance, or fleet management

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • ASI background check will be required

  • Security Clearance not required at the time of hire but must qualify for one within the first year of employment

You need to bring a solid track record designing complex continuous integration and deployment automation. You will need to be able to assess our current DevOps procedures and utilize leading edge technology to give ASI a competitive edge. Responsibilities: * Maintains current knowledge of best practices in information technology, development processes, software architecture, and software release management * Analyzes software deployment requirements across multiple applications and modules * Provides architectural frameworks, design, and development leadership for all software release builds * Participates in deployment and release management development with software developer and database development leads * Creates development estimates and operational requirements to enable accurate planning with realistic timelines * Evaluates new application packages and tools and performs research on best DevOps practices * Builds automated deployments using configuration management technology * Verifies the functionality of components and services and ensures deployment meets client's expectations * Troubleshoots existing deployments to identify errors or deficiencies and develops solutions * Collaborates with other technical teams (Development, Database, QA Testers, Analysts) to ensure successful delivery of projects from testing to integration to deployment using an agile approach Required Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline from US accredited institution * Masters degree in related field can be substituted for 2 years of experience * 5 years of experience as a DevOps developer after receiving degree * 2 years of experience working in applications development or IT operations * Expert knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies * Expert knowledge of software deployment and release management methodologies for medium to complex builds * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Hands-on DevOps experience on at least six large-scale web application projects Preferred Qualifications: * Working level knowledge with two or more of the following web applications: * .Net * Java * C# * Cold Fusion * Adobe Flex * Experience with three or more of the following: * Windows and Linux servers * PowerShell * .NET or Java n-tier web applications * GIT and GIT flow * Traditional waterfall SDLC and Agile methods * Issue tracking tools such as Jira * MS SQL Server or Oracle DB * Project management tools such as MS Project Work Authorization/Security Clearance: * Must be a U.S. Citizen * Security Clearance not required at the time of hire but must qualify for one within the first year of employment * ASI background check will be required Work Location: * Position is located in the ASI Orange Park office For more information about this and other open positions, please visit our website at www.androsysinc.com.
