Job Description:


The JD requires insurance experience, Knowledge of insurance applications and core business functions, or equivalent experience in the financial services, of the Property & Casualty Insurance industry .
Provides a critical layer between the business, Business Intelligence and Analytics, and Information Technology teams with responsibility to gather, analyze, evaluate, and document the business, functional, technical, security, performance, training, and data mapping requirements needed to effectively deliver analytics and reporting.
Roles &

Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge in using the appropriate tools and technologies to create and/or provide governance of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation needed by various teams (business users, testers, trainers, and applications development teams) to successfully develop and maintain infrastructure and business systems applications.
Produce and publish the required SDLC artifacts on projects with a moderate degree of complexity and scale.
Attend kickoff and other project-related meetings with end business users to understand initiative objectives, document results, and capture follow ups, as appropriate.
Attend and participate in Data Governance meetings while utilizing Data Governance best practices
Document the AS IS and TO BE business and technology processes.
Assist in the creation of test cases and test data for, and the execution of Unit, Integration, and Usability testing.
Support the effort to maintain system documentation, including screen, report, and job execution descriptions, user manuals, operational procedures, application, and job flows.
Provide status reports according to departmental and project standards.
Identify continuous process improvement opportunities and operationalize solutions for same.
Participate actively in requirement gathering and gap analysis activities.
Provide support to end business users by answering quick hit questions or directing to the Information Experience Designer or Change Management Professional
Required

Technical Skills:
Knowledge of insurance applications and core business functions, or equivalent experience in the financial services, of the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
Ability to interact with Information Technology and Line of Business management, and when necessary lead the planning and execution of implementations of small to medium complexity projects.
Knowledge of Data Warehouse/ Business Intelligence and Analytics project lifecycle (SDLC), tools, technologies, testing, and best practices.
The familiarity with Cognos and TM1 Suite of tools.
Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
Knowledge of data gathering using Structured Query Language (SQL).
Knowledge of information technologies, their uses, and applications.

Additional Details:

Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
Strong knowledge of business practices and theories, including a sound understanding of the business.
Ability to develop relationships in the organization at all levels to define problems, identify solutions, and facilitate change.
Leverage strong knowledge of insurance practices, processes, and products.

Core Responsibilities * Review all credit applications in person or via the phone with prospective customers for accuracy and complete information * Review retail order with customer to confirm correct address, price etc * The sale of "soft products" to customers * Makes sure Retail Order and Credit Application is signed * Finance Manager sends appropriate information to Transport Funding * If deal is declined by Transport Funding, F&I Manager will work with Transport Funding to obtain approval * If Transport Funding further declines, the F&I Manager will review TF turndown file and investigate outside funding from an approved lending source * Finance Manager reviews Transport Funding requirement checklist and communicates stipulations to customer and collects needed requirements * Negotiates finance terms and close instalment contracts with customer and forwards to Transport Funding or other finance company * Process paperwork associated with all sales transactions including the final recap * Ensure proper execution of title work (including lien perfections) in accordance with local rules and regulations * Contact delinquent accounts and coordinate collection effort with assigned collector at Transport Funding to bring account current * Maintain a satisfactory yield on finance contracts * Complies with Arrow Truck Sales, Customer Identity Theft and Fraud Prevention Policy - "Red Flag Rules" * Manage Branch Administrative Assistants (if applicable) Competencies * Teamwork: Working effectively and productively with others.
