Together, we will deliver great food and great service, every time, to every one of our guests at every one of our restaurants. Responsible for the preparation of appetizers, sandwiches, calzones, pizza, grilled and pasta dishes according to Bertucci's specifications. Primary responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Knowledgeable in all behind-the-line areas so that scheduling is more flexible Food rotation, set-up and break-down, stocking wood, presentation of products, and cleaning utensils and general work area Prepare food accurately and in a timely manner Ensure temperature of ovens, coolers and freezers are accurate Inspect stock levels and review prep sheets with the manager to establish daily prep list Stores, unpacks, and retrieves food items in the appropriate area of storage Monitors and reports malfunctioning of equipment by arranging each item appropriately in a sound working order Prepares food products according to safety policies as designated. Demonstrates correct use of food service equipment and utensils and wipes up spills on counter and floor as necessary in order to prevent falls Maintains sanitary work area as defined by State Health Department standards by cleaning food service equipment and utensils as necessary throughout preparation of food items Wipes immediate work area as necessary after preparation of foot items Position

Requirements:

VIEW JOBS 11/22/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-20T00:00 * Must be courteous to patients, visitors, physicians, volunteers, and other employees of the organization. * Under the general supervision of the Dietary Manager, and or designee and within hospital and departmental policies and procedures is responsible for the following duties: * Prepare and assemble cold food items in accordance with census and hospital specifications * Set up patient trays according to menus and diet instructions; assist with delivery of trays when needed and return trays to dietary after meals. * Supply floor pantries with needed listed food items. Clean pantries and clean and defrost refrigerators as assigned. Make and deliver requested between-meal nourishments. * Assist in dish room with de-traying, dishwashing, and storage of clean dish items. * Take fruit and vegetable inventory twice weekly, as assigned. * Make coffee for Hospital meetings. Sets up hospital functions under supervision of the Food Service Manager or designee. * Sweep and mop Kitchen, walk in, and storeroom floors daily. Other general cleaning as assigned. * Wash pots, pans and utensils, and help with vegetable prep. * Completes production for all dietary needs. * Must wear facility provided identification badge. * Other duties may be assigned. * Must be able to read, write, and understand English. * Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. * Must be at least 16 years of age. * Able to interact and relate to public and fellow workers. * Ability to work in a flexible environment. * Interest in experiencing new opportunities in an environment of change. * Willingness to try new approaches to situations.
