The Palm Springs Unified School District has sixteen elementary schools, five middle schools, four comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, alternative education programs, one independent study program, and several headstart/state preschools. SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director-Risk Management, perform a variety of specialized duties in support of the District benefits insurance program for employees and retirees; provide a variety of technical and complex information and assistance to District personnel, covered individuals, medical and legal professionals and insurance vendors regarding benefit programs; fulfill reporting and notification requirements of applicable government rules and regulations. JOB REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college-level coursework in business, English or related field and three years increasingly responsible experience working with employee benefits programs.
