U.S. Benefits Specialist, Materials and Mobility Business (MMF)
The U.S. Benefits Specialist is responsible for administration, vendor relations and participant support of US, Puerto Rico, and Canadian employee benefit plans. The Benefits Specialist offers technical, administrative and vendor support to the Benefits Manager; assists HR staff and external partners involved in delivery of benefit plans and programs; is the primary resource for analysis, research, and support on benefits issues.
The Materials and Mobility Business has over 1,500 employees in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. As announced publicly, DuPont has entered into a definitive agreement to sell the Materials and Mobility business to the Celanese Corporation. The transaction is expected to close around the end of 2022, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. On completion of that transaction, the incumbent for this position will move to Celanese. This position will continue to be based in Delaware.
Your qualification profile:
Bachelor's Degree preferred and minimum of 5+ years specialized benefits analyst experience
Demonstrated experience and skill managing large scale, corporate-wide benefits projects subject to high visibility
Direct experience interacting with multiple benefits vendors and benefits administration outsourcing
Expert knowledge of benefit programs
Expert proficiency in MS Excel, MS Work, MS PowerPoint
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Able to understand complex, non-routine matters requiring analysis to arrive at decisions which frequently vary from standard procedures
Appropriately operates with frequent access to confidential information
Developed interpersonal and team environment skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently

Direct experience with leave of absence administration
Your key responsibilities:
Assists in day-to-day operational administration of benefit programs
Process 401k funding and settlement per pay period
Manage all external vendors with proper partnership expectations. Ensure external vendors maintain accurate employee information
Assist with annual enrollment process including set-up and vendor/carrier preparation
Ensure prompt, user-friendly, and compliant resolution of plan participant issues and inquiries
Requests, analyzes and provides data reports from appropriate internal/external resources to assist with benefit planning/compliance/development. Provides in-depth analysis of data reporting.
Assist with Regulatory Compliance, monitor compliance with various internal and external regulatory and disclosure mandates. Ensure compliance of federal and state laws, and other benefit related regulations.
Assists with annual benefit plan audits.
Participate in vendor testing as needed.
Preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies.
Assists with escalated employee matters, management, and HR Business Partners regarding eligibility, claims status, qualifying events, network limitations and other benefits issues as they arise. Researches and responds to complex questions regarding interpretation of benefits plans
Partake in annual renewals, strategy implementation, and special projects
Provide statistical and census data for external partners as needed
May include other duties as assigned
Assists in day-to-day operational administration of leave programs
