Purpose of JobWe are currently seeking talented Benefits Program Advisor I for our San Antonio, TX facility.
Responsible for the implementation and ongoing administration of employee and retiree benefit plans, programs, services and suppliers. Provides operational guidance and solutions covering a wide range of benefit programs including health & welfare, retirement, work-life, total health management, voluntary benefits and time off programs.
Provides proficient knowledge and guidance in the implementation and administration of benefit plans, programs, and services.
Supports the daily management of programs, regulatory compliance, contract compliance and contracted suppliers.
Researches and analyzes key issues to determine optimal solutions.
Administers benefit programs and ensures integration and alignment with the Total Rewards philosophy.
Monitors multiple suppliers and contracts.
Ensures vendors are aligned with benefit program objectives and provide appropriate service levels to employees.
Ensures legal compliance of regulations applying to assigned benefit programs.
Assists with benefit projects and initiatives and serves on cross functional teams.
Coordinates with key stakeholders on the development and implementation of systems and processes which support benefit projects and initiatives.
Bachelor's degree required OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Familiarity with employee relocation benefits
Experience with providing advice and guidance to executive leadership
Knowledge of benefits with a strong background in HRIS systems including report writing, audits and data analysis
Experience with requirements gathering, interfacing with IT, and QA processes from test case creation to overseeing QA/UAT efforts
Workday HCM experience
Excellent organizational skills, analytical ability, attention to detail and ability to take initiative and solve problems
Experience with file integration activities
Expert Excel and Access skills
