You're data-driven and a believer in benefits. This role's for you.
Data, numbers, people and process efficiencies are your strong suit. You thrive in a family-like environment and work best with a small, close-knit team of tenured professionals. You're the ideal fit for the high-profile role of Benefits & Payroll Analyst at Dierbergs' corporate headquarters in Chesterfield, Missouri.
This important role is all about accurate data reporting and analysis, as well as benefits administration, payroll processing, tax reporting and payroll system maintenance. As an added bonus, you'll be trained by the person currently in the role (who's retiring); this is the perfect opportunity to learn from our current expert and also find ways to improve our systems and processes moving forward. We will rely on you to:
Run, update and create PeopleSoft and Kronos queries, then prepare and analyze reports in support of payroll and benefits
Assist the Payroll Manager with compensation, non-union benefits, COBRA and 401(k) administration
Serve as back-up in running all aspects of weekly in-house payroll for more than 4,000 Associates
Participate in and perform required testing of system updates
Keep abreast of developments and updates in benefits and payroll tax laws, systems and technologies
Why Dierbergs is different
The people you'll work with are accessible and approachable. We're a devoted team that's large enough to handle multiple, competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment, yet small enough to share the workload and support each other.
We process payroll in-house, weekly, for 4,000 Associates. Weekly paychecks are a definite luxury in the retail food service industry!
We have a successful history, and we're equally committed to embracing the future. As your role is benefits-focused, we welcome your input in the benefits selection process and encourage you to help us refine our plan offerings.
Our Chesterfield corporate office is right off the highway, with walking trails, restaurants and shopping nearby.
