Join our world class team and culture and contribute to our core mission which is enhancing our customer's experience Summary This position will assist in the handling of employee benefit and payroll inquires and will be responsible for updating employee records, maintaining benefit information, and researching routine issues. Responsibilities also include reviewing documentation, responding to requests from benefit carriers and reconciling monthly benefit invoices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned. Ensures proper documentation is received timely from employees who would like to add dependents or have qualifying events. Performs audits of benefits including FMLA to ensure cases are closed timely and that benefit payments are captured in the system or repaid upon return from leave.

Reviews company’s benefit packages including plan documents and provides employees with available resources (intranet, carrier information, etc.). Seeks guidance from Benefit Manager and Sr. Payroll Coordinator as needed for assistance with unfamiliar scenarios. Processing requests for reports and ensures timely completion (24-48 hours). Runs mandatory quarterly reports for payroll for various states and submits them timely to ensure compliance.

Assists with orientation for Payroll and/or Benefits as needed to ensure employees have a good understanding of our system. Responds to employee inquires sent to the Payroll or Human Resources distribution groups and provides a high level of customer service. (Inquires must be responded to within two business hours). Assists with reviewing benefit invoices and reconciling this to payroll deductions. Maintains the security of confidential information.

Complies with all company policies and procedures. This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth. Minimum of one (1) year of Payroll or Benefits administration experience. Skills required: Able to create, proofread and format documents for internal and external presentations.

Demonstrates attention to detail. Able to accomplish/complete a task, ensuring all information is accurate, no matter how small. Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\ Education High school diploma or a general education degree (GED) Must live within a commutable distance of one of the following cities: Houston TX or Atlanta, GA Qualifications Preferred:

General knowledge in payroll and benefits Physical Requirements: Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, close vision for computer work, speaking, hearing, lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. Use hands and fingers to keyboard.
