Reddit is looking for a Benefits Partner to help the HR team build our benefit processes and strategy as we scale. Our benefits help make Reddit one of the best places to work in the bay area. Own benefit administration including open enrollment (renewal, implementation of new benefit carriers, system configuration, company communications), new hire benefit enrollment, and termination support (COBRA, system shutdown).
Ensure benefit information and policies are kept current on internal communications resources, and develop new communication materials, strategies and project plans to enhance employees' understanding and engagement with benefits offerings.
Partner and collaborate with the Global Benefits Manager to analyze current benefits programs by understanding benefit trends, benchmarking and program data analytics to make recommended improvements to plan design.
Serve as main point of contact for employee and candidate benefit inquiries, partnering with benefits broker and/or other benefits providers
Ensure benefits vendors provide excellent benefits and services to employees. Work with insurance brokers, Third Party Administrators (TPA's) and plan carriers on matters related to plan design, plan administration and compliance.
Educate employees and managers regarding the leave process and interface with payroll to ensure proper payment of leave benefits, while overseeing third party administrator of compliance-related aspects of leaves. Communicate with HRBP and Managers on status of leave and return to work process.
Oversee and ensure benefits compliance with regulatory filings and updates, notices, ACA mandates, plan audits, non-discrimination testing, and other reporting.
What We Can Expect From You:
2+ years experience in benefit administration
Strong analytical and project management skills, with a proven ability to design and communicate clear processes, and a detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving
You are self-motivated and solution oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team
Willing to pitch in on team projects and create the most effective processes and workflows
You are passionate about employee engagement and building an inclusive culture
Bonus if you have experience with:
