Working Solutions is seeking a highly motivated benefits enrollment representative to assist eligible federal employees, associates, and retired military personnel with enrollment of insurance benefits. You can earn a $500 BONUS now through December and additional bonuses and incentives if you support more than one client or work additional hours!

Overview

Independent contractors will assist callers creating new benefits accounts, enrolling into plans, changing and canceling current plans, and/or answering questions about the benefits program.

Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule opportunities

  • Enrollment season runs from November 1 through December 13

  • Available anytime between 9 am and 10 pm CT

  • Weekdays only

Compensation:

  • Earn up to $14 per productive hour

Technology & Equipment Requirements:
  • Personal computer (no tablet)

VIEW JOBS 11/18/2021 12:00:00 AM 2022-02-16T00:00 Digital Services, a unit within the Creative Department of University Relations and Enrollment Management, is seeking applications for a Junior Web Application Developer. This position will assist and support the UR Digital staff with planning, programming, configuring, documenting, and maintaining code in support of WVU's web content management system. This role will work closely with UR Digital staff and with the guidance of the senior and lead developers to maintain the operation, availability, and performance of the CMS, and will contribute to the development of new features, enhancements, and refinements of the application. Additionally, working with the Assistant Director, Senior Developers and other team members, this position will support all phases of the development of other assigned web applications in support of WVU University Relations projects and initiatives. The developer will work closely with application owners to develop and refine requirements, program, deploy, and support the assigned applications. The duties of this position will require frequent communication and cooperation with UR Digital staff and with members of the extended user base of the CMS and other supported applications. This position will provide user technical support for the CMS and selected applications and will work to inform and educate users about best practices when using these resources in accordance with WVU's established web standards. Check out retirement health insurance benefits, retirement income, and FAQ's. * Wellness programs What You'll Do * Under the direction of the Assistant Director and Senior Web Developers this position will support and assist with the development, operation, and maintenance of WVU's web content management system, CleanSlate, using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and other modern web technologies. Works closely with front-end developers to refine the functionality and improve performance of the website theming system used with the CMS. Works closely with the lead application developer for CleanSlate to monitor application performance, maintain the code base, develop new features, and support the operation and maintenance of the system. * Assist with developing web applications to support the needs of WVU University Relations projects and initiatives. Works closely with application owners to gather requirements and plan development work. Researches solutions, programs applications, and implements cloud hosting resources in accordance with prevailing WVU standards and policies. Maintains and supports web applications, and provides end-user technical support, training, and documentation as necessary. * Monitor the use and performance of web applications and cloud hosting resources. Identifies potential errors and performance issues and implements changes preemptively to ensure uptime and performance of web applications and cloud hosting resources. * Research and evaluate third-party software, applications, systems, and cloud hosting resources for potential implementation in support of WVU University Relations projects and initiatives. Provides ongoing operational support for selected third-party applications and systems. * Bachelor's degree in either computer science, information systems or directly related field. * Experience involving: * Web Programming Applications * Operating, maintaining and supporting web applications * Designing, Configuring and managing relational databases * Experience deploying web applications using cloud-based infrastructure. * Coding websites. * Programming a server-side web application using Ruby, PHP, Python, or a comparable environment. * Designing, configuring, and managing a relational database using an RDBMS system like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or a comparable system. * Deploying a web application on cloud-based hosting infrastructure. * Coding websites using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. * Using command-line tools including Git, NPM, and Linux shell commands. * Using a version control repository such as BitBucket or Github. * Gathering requirements, planning, and documenting work. * Working toward shared goals as a member of a team.
