General Responsibilities as a Benefits Coordinator:
Process customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Administer associate health benefits including enrollments, edits, and terminations
Administer/Support annual benefits Open Enrollment process for internal employees as well as associates
Coordinate key communication streams with third party benefit providers.
Manage associate/employee payroll premium deductions
Process associate/employee payroll premium refunds
Process associate National Support Orders
Process associate/employee CMS/Medicare double-payment claims/appeals
Process associates health insurance premiums invoicing reconciliation and processing for payment or adjustments
Manage MV5500 plan administration for ACA compliance & 1095 reporting
Produce schedules and ad-hoc reporting pertaining to benefits
Maintains benefits portion of HRIS
Desired Skills & Experience for a Benefits Coordinator:
Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency.
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple streams of data and information.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exposure to HRIS and payroll/benefits processes a plus
