  • Support the day-to-day administration of the employee benefit and compensation plans and programs.

  • Identify process issues and assist with research and resolution of problems and errors. Recommend improved policies and procedures and coordinate implementation when approved. Maintain and document processes in a standardized and comprehensible format.

  • Investigate benefit appeals and drafts documentation to be presented to the Administrative Committee on a monthly basis.

  • Assist in COBRA administration, and vendor management of the COBRA vendor.

  • Participate in wage, salary planning and benefits surveys, maintaining the tracking log to ensure timely response and minimal cost.

  • Research total rewards market trends and best practices to ensure programs are competitive and cost effective.

  • Assist in the preparation of job descriptions and evaluations, and update the job records to reflect approved changes.

  • Monitor vendor interface files, tracking, researching and reporting problems as required.

  • Perform pension calculation and assist associates with pension paperwork.

  • Assist with life insurance statement and of health process.

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with both internal and external customers of the organization. Work closely with the company's management, auditors, and vendors to coordinate audits and SOX compliance reviews.

  • Assist in creation and coordination of the delivery of associate benefit related communication materials (annual enrollment materials, employee handbook, company newsletters, publications, etc.) with management, vendors and associates.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail, follow-up and problem resolution.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

  • Ability to navigate an HRIS including developing and running queries to generate reports.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) with ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization.

  • Must possess a goal driven sense of urgency and customer service responsiveness, with ability to consistently meet or exceed deadlines on all projects and requests.

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service oriented environment. Strong analytical skills and proven experience in solving problems and identifying recommended solutions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance or related discipline required.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in benefits and compensation administration, or comparable.

  • Project management experience a plus.

VIEW JOBS 12/3/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-02T00:00 The Marketing Manager role is responsible for tactical planning, execution and project management of the company's marketing communication and promotional activities. This responsibility oversees the creative group responsible for generating graphic materials for all forms of printed, digital and visual communications. This includes the interface with the customer to ascertain customer needs, through the creation of the creative assignment and then the successful completion of the project. This role is responsible for sourcing and aligning the appropriate resources to ensure projects are delivered on spec, on time and on budget. Works closely with content management to ensure that all content (including rich content) is collected on time and complete so as to deliver printed or digital materials per stated deadlines and publication dates. Additionally, this role will liaise internally and externally as a subject matter expert with internal stakeholders and external customers and partners, while managing the flow of information to ensure timely and efficient delivery to end customers. Major Responsibilities * Leading the creative staff in the conception, development and management of all print collateral, direct mail, multimedia, product demonstrations, audio/video productions, graphic standards, logos, trade show graphics, photo shoots, web design, illustrations, print ads and package design assigned to the creative team. * Collaborate with the entire Marketing team, including management of graphic designers and copywriters, departmental workflow and production timelines from the initiation of a project through completion. * Develop and manage the content and production calendars to ensure all marketing collateral is posted, delivered, and rotated timely. * Manage cross-departmental needs, print and third-party fulfillment vendors, using the annual marketing calendar as a roadmap for planning. * Support the Director of Marketing in budget and vendor management including soliciting project bids, reviewing final invoices against estimates, and addressing and reconciling variances. * Work with print and digital vendors to develop production schedules, and assist the content development team in ensuring print and digital files are prepared and sent to vendors timely. * Develop, review, and optimize team procedures and processes to support strategic direction, grow the business, recognize efficiencies, and identify cost saving activity. * Conduct and utilize market research to determine the unique needs of each market and channel to build compelling marketing campaigns. * Drive collaboration among organizational collateral for a consistent yet efficient use of our messaging and branding. * Lead efforts to drive uniform and consistent touchpoints between eMarketing and customers. * Collaborate with sales, merchandising and marketing staffs to brainstorm innovative marketing strategies and share best practices. * Communicate program and promotion success to internal and external audiences. * Understand and demonstrates ORS Nasco's Core Values. * Perform other duties as assigned Skills/Knowledge Required * Ability to think strategically, manage multiple and changing priorities, and exercise discretion * Strong competency in creating, managing and critiquing creative direction. * Excellent eye for assessing the effectiveness of creative design execution. * Ability to lead and motivate project teams in complex integrated environments * Written and oral communication skills which reflect logical thinking, and are accurate, concise, persuasive and customer-service oriented approach * Thorough understanding of marketing and production processes/concepts * Self-directed, must be able to set priorities and manage to deadlines * Well organized, detail oriented, and flexible in change driven environments * Ability to perform under pressure, think quickly, and handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. * Demonstrated commitment to teamwork along with creativity, flexibility, tenacity, good sense of humor and a high level of energy. * Strong speaking, presentation, and training skills * Basic understanding of project management software; Microsoft Project, Basecamp, and/or Workzone. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with Adobe Creative Suite products, particularly InDesign, and familiarity with current design software and printing standards as well as basic graphic design skills.
