You will be a key contributor to the PRA Global Benefits function, focusing on the following:Ensure benefits processes are documented and effective, including auditing of processes and data on an ongoing basis for accuracy and control.Partner with Sr. Specialist to ensure program compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.Lead and assist in project management and implementation.Work with vendors and internal departments to support program implementation and ongoing execution. Troubleshoot as needed.Serve as escalation point for the Sr. Coordinators and provide elevated administration of the health & welfare programs.Develop and deliver budget reporting across domestic benefit programs

Perform benchmarking analysis with Sr. Specialist to develop analyses and dashboard reporting.Examine, identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.

Conduct recurring PRA benefits orientation.Lead wellness-related program events in partnership with Sr. Specialist and Sr. Coordinators.What do you need to have?3 to 5 years+ of relevant experience with strong knowledge of benefit plans and concepts including 401(k), life & Disability, self-insured medical Experience with project/program management including RFP's, implementations, audits, etc.Global benefits experience is a plus

Strong MS Office skills including ExcelBachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field of study

High customer-focused orientation

In this role, you will support strategy development and solutions implementation for the United States benefits programs. You'll need to have broad benefits experience and advanced knowledge of benefits administration and operations, as well as experience managing compliance activities for all benefit programs, including the 401(k) retirement savings plan and Affordable Care Act (ACA) plan. Primary job responsibilities * Serve as the lead analyst for the U.S. healthcare and retirement plans * Create and provide an ongoing reporting for health and welfare and retirement programs to support benefits strategy development consistent with Red Hat's rewards philosophy and talent strategy, using direct market analyses and benchmarking to identify trends and perform cost analysis * Partner with internal communications team to develop effective and culturally aligned benefits communication across the benefit programs * Partner with the members of the extended team, including payroll, benefits operations, human resources information system (HRIS), and information technology (IT) associates for effective delivery of benefits * Process improvement initiatives related to the benefit programs * Collaborate with other associates and share your current knowledge of benefits-related legislation, including the ACA and health care reforms, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); make recommendations for required policy or practice changes * Manage relationships with the benefits broker team, third-party benefit plan providers, and other external vendors * Review and recommend changes to benefits documentation, including contracts, plan documents, and summaries * Collaborate and provide subject matter guidance to the People (HR) team associates and management on a variety of benefit matters * Ensure that operations and processes are efficient and scalable to support the growth of Red Hat * Produce and maintain documentation related to administrative benefit processes and policies * Work with Red Hat's HR Infrastructure team to determine, implement, and manage how programs are delivered to our associates Required skills * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * 5+ years of experience in the development and administration of benefits programs; experience as a benefits program manager or analyst in a large, shared services environment is a plus * Experience with large volume and diverse leaves programs * Solid analytical abilities specific to employee benefit program market positioning, cost drivers, and financial * Compliance and operations knowledge across all benefit programs, including an understanding of how payroll, IT, and HRIS teams collaborate to effectively administer programs * History of delivering results and operating as an internal consultant across all levels of management with the ability to build close relationships, gain agreement on decisions, and gain trust as an adviser * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner * Excellent presentation skills * Experience working in a rapidly growing and high-volume environment * Experience managing compliance activities related to all benefit programs described previously in the job summary and job responsibilities sections * Ability to manage time away from work and voluntary benefit programs is a plus Red Hat is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
