Job Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for administering U.S benefits programs and systems, manage vendor partner relationships, and improve operational solutions to enhance employee engagement with benefit programs. The position reports to the Sr. Director, Global Benefits and will support 4 other Benefit Program Managers with specialized functional benefits expertise.
Other Job Responsibilities
Leave of Absence Process (50%)
Acts a point of contact for US leave of absence internal resource; assists Program Manager with case management tasks
Enter leave data into various systems and communicate cross-functionally with other departments (payroll, HR, IT)
Calculate time and pay data for employees on leave each pay period using Excel
Provide reporting to payroll and answer questions as needed
Liaison with third-party leave administrator for leave details, updates, escalations
Monitor emails for key updates and missing information; respond to urgent issues
Partner with HRBPs and HR Shared Services on leave process workflows and updates for management team
General Benefit Responsibilities (50%)
General benefits point of contact for tier 2 support; Monitor general email box for escalations and trends
Conduct regular audits and identify issues and opportunities for streamlined process and enhanced education
Reviews and processes benefits invoices from various sources
Oversees US wellness events and on-line programming
Administers programs such as education and student loan assistance, back up care, voluntary benefits, etc.
Keeps up to date on regulatory compliance and executes required notices and documentation for U.S. benefit programs
Identify opportunities to improve existing and sustainable processes to enhance the employee and administrative experience
Minimum Qualifications
BS or BA or equivalent experience/training in Human Resources, Business or related field
5-8 years of relevant HR and benefits experience
Experience with project management and cross-functional work
Strong and current knowledge of regulatory landscape including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADAAA, COBRA and other federal and state employment laws
Extensive experience with Word, PowerPoint and Excel, especially advanced formulas and queries
Proficiency with HRIS and understanding of payroll concepts
