Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Researches, analyzes, evaluates and administers company benefit plans and programs.
Recommends changes to benefit plans and programs based on benefit strategy, benchmarking data and trends.
Acts as project lead for certain health, welfare and/or retirement benefit initiatives.
Recommends ways to incorporate technology into benefits processes to improve efficiencies.
Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
Performs initial review and analysis of benefit vendor proposals/contracts to achieve the best outcome for the company, and prepares them for presentation to management in conjunction with the direct leader.
Liaises with benefits partners, corporate departments and divisions to ensure timely and efficient flow of information and to promote effective benefits communication.
Maintains a thorough understanding of benefits processes and regulations, and keeps knowledge current through various forms of ongoing training.
Assures that required and necessary documentation is completed and properly maintained in order to provide substantiation and assist with future audits.
Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
Upholds the security and confidentiality of all information within area of responsibility.

Education and Experience:
Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prepare written materials to meet purpose and audience.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external parties.
Ability to perform cost/benefit analysis.
Establishes goals and works toward achievement.
