Job Description a Benefits Analyst, you play a key role in supporting the overall success of company-wide benefits programs, including medical, retirement, leave and other voluntary benefits programs.

This role involves managing and analyzing our employee benefits programs and ensuring they are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with our company's strategic goals. The Benefits Analyst will support benefits administration, compliance, and optimization, playing a key role in enhancing employee satisfaction and retention and assisting in the evaluation, development, and implementation of new programs. Duties and Responsibilities Benefits Program Administration Administer various health and welfare benefits programs, including but not limited to medical, Rx, dental, vision, life insurance, voluntary benefits, STD, and LTD.

Ensures compliance of benefit and retirement programs in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA and other local regulatory and legislative requirements; coordinates preparation of filings with federal and state agencies, including IRS (eg. 1095-C filing) and DOL (eg. 5500 filing) and other regulatory agencies. Collaborate with internal and external partners to research and resolve benefit issues. Manages relationships with vendors and carriers, including monitoring cost, service levels, processes and accuracy of data.

Employee Support and Communication: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, providing clear and accurate information. Partner with Communications and Training to provide communication materials and training sessions to educate employees about benefit options and changes.

Assist with the annual open enrollment process, including planning, communication, and execution ensure all milestones/goals are met; actively participate in the annual rate setting process. Lead the annual benefits open enrollment process: audit enrollment data; verify HRIS upload files; review benefits communication materials; conduct associate training, as applicable. Assist in resolving Tier 1 LOA questions Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct regular analysis of benefits programs to assess utilization, cost-effectiveness, and employee satisfaction. Prepare reports and presentations for management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements. Monitor trends and best practices in benefits administration to enhance our offerings.

Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of benefits plans, employee enrollments, and claims. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Conduct audits to verify the accuracy and integrity of benefits data and processes. Support the 401k Committee activities; produce reports; coordinate agenda for quarterly meetings; and partner with external resources as necessary. May support HR Generalists with claims, investigations or other functions.

Assists with other benefit projects/duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration, with a strong background in data analysis. Solid knowledge of employee benefit programs, federal and state benefits regulations and compliance requirements around HIPAA, ACA, and ERISA Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software; intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred. Self-starter with a high level of initiative and a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Performs work independently and under minimal supervision. Excellent analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of integrity.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
