The Benefits Advisory and Compliance (BAC) Service Line within Retirement provides governance, compliance, administrative and operational consulting services for the full array of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans (defined benefit and defined contribution), as well as health and welfare and executive benefit plans. As such, we help clients fulfil their fiduciary obligations and achieve operational plan effectiveness.

Role Priorities:

  • Work closely with BAC leadership and North American Retirement Sales and Marketing Leader, Growth Leader and IC Leader to define and execute sales and marketing strategy for BAC initiatives

  • Work with Regional Retirement Leaders and Office LOB Leaders to achieve sales and financial targets by defining and executing sales management processes across BAC

  • Member of NA RET Growth Leadership Team: represent BAC Service Line and liaise between Growth Team and BAC leadership as appropriate

  • Develop and execute BAC sales and marketing strategy

  • Develop key sales and marketing materials

  • Provide proposal strategy on major assignments

  • Participate in BAC sales opportunities, where appropriate

  • Provide lead consultant coaching on major opportunities

  • Provide BAC Survey direction and development

  • Set strategic direction and oversight for BAC sales and marketing initiatives

  • Oversee sales and marketing training

  • Collaborate with NA RET retirement Business Developers (RBDs) and Retirement Sales Leaders (RSLs)

  • Manage sales pipeline for BAC services

  • Oversee BAC Intellectual Capital development

  • Marketing activities: Lead and develop content for BAC-specific client/prospect marketing events and execute and develop BAC specific marketing plan in collaboration with Corporate Marketing, the RET Sales & Marketing Leader, Intellectual Capital leader and other appropriate Growth Team representatives

  • Provide direction and leadership of LOB go-to-market activities to achieve business growth plan

  • Collaborate with the NA Retirement Policies and Procedures and IC Leaders and with other LOBs and non-NA RET staff to sell integrated services

  • Develop and execute BAC value proposition

The Requirements

  • Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization

  • Proven ability to generate revenue and grow market share

  • Proven ability to recognize and diagnose issues, work in teams, and leverage the resources of other related practices to address client challenges

  • Ability to develop, manage and execute on a sales pipeline and related processes

  • Experience selling and delivering compliance, governance, and defined contribution solutions to large organizations

  • A broad understanding of human capital strategy and the ability to contribute to cross-practice client engagements

  • An executive presence with polished, organized and well developed written and oral communication skills
