JOB DESCRIPTON
Duties:
Assist in preparing requests for proposal for benefits,
Monitor contract compliance and recommend changes in policy;
Prepare and process health insurance forms and claims;
Record and process changes in insurance;
Enroll employees in retirement, medical, life and other insurance programs;
Process payroll deductions regarding insurance premiums;
Coordinate payroll deductions with payroll staff;
Serve as liaison with the third party insurance administrator;
Process payments to administrator;
Prepare and maintain a variety of files and filing systems;
Stay abreast of trends and developments in the field of insurance administrators.
Qualifications:
Two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in benefits administration; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from and accredited college or university with major course work in personnel management public or business administration, or a related field.
PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT, APPLICANT RECOMMENDED FOR EMPLOYMENT SHALL BE REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A URINALYSIS AND/OR BLOOD TEST TO SCREEN FOR ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG ABUSE.
