As a Benefits Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and administering our comprehensive employee benefits programs. This includes health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other employee perks.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, providing guidance to employees, and supporting the overall benefits strategy of the company. Responsibilities: Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits. Assist employees with benefits inquiries, claim resolution, and enrollment processes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA). Coordinate the annual benefits enrollment process and provide support to employees throughout the selection period. Manage benefit data and records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Collaborate with benefits vendors and providers to address employee needs and ensure proper plan management.
Monitor and analyze benefits costs and trends to provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and distribute benefits-related communications, including plan changes, deadlines, and updates. Conduct employee benefits orientations and assist with onboarding for new hires.
Stay current with benefits legislation and industry trends to ensure best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2 years of experience in benefits administration (NO human resources, only strict benefits experience) Knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
