We are looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to oversee and administer the employees perfect rewards and smart benefits. You will assess personnel needs and draft targeted programs that will increase performance, organisational trust and satisfaction. The goal is to attract, retain and motivate high quality employees while reducing turnover and enhancing our companys profile as best place to work.


  • Define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package that fits and is aligned to our companys strategy and business goals
  • Develop a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organisational objectives
  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc)
  • Use various methods and techniques and make data based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations
  • Assess employees needs by conducting organisational psychology surveys to find out what motivates and engages employees
  • Prepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications
  • Participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
  • Differentiate pay systems to invest in the segments of workforce that contribute the most value
  • Deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices
  • Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports


  • Proven working experience as a Compensation and Benefits Specialist
  • Prior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle management
  • Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
  • Previous experience with organisational psychology and labour market surveys
  • Adequate knowledge of current labour rules and regulations
  • Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits
  • Extensive knowledge of HRIS and MS Office
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • BS degree in human resources, business administration or finance

More information is available at</p><p>SUMMARY</p><p>Responsible for ensuring book of business is managed effectively and efficiently by working collaboratively with global benefit team members and country brokers.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li><p>Acts as the lead representative to an assigned book-of-business;</p></li><li><p>Manages all client required services and maintains client relationship with minimal input from Consultants.</p></li><li><p>Collaborates with the International Benefits Consultant and Benefit Analyst to identify and evaluate the client's specific characteristics including benefit needs, design, group demographics and employee census;</p></li><li><p>Acts as direct point of contact for client from time of lead;</p></li><li><p>Receives and responds to client inquiries including benefit and claim questions and issues;</p></li><li><p>Develops strategic solutions to reduce risk associated with clients mobile workforce through programs such as business travel accident, overseas medical plan, expat plan, EAP, etc.;</p></li><li><p>Provides guidance on statutory benefit and typical market practice benefits to ensure benefits are compliant and are competitive;</p></li><li><p>Proactively manages country renewals;</p></li><li><p>Reviews clients renewal reports and presents them;</p></li><li><p>Serves as technical expert, assisting department members to resolve complex issues; Identifies and develops cross-sell opportunities;</p></li><li><p>Create new client sales opportunities;</p></li><li><p>Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE</p><p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience</p><p>5+ years related work experience, preferably in Global Benefits</p><p>Valid Insurance license</p><p>Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal</p><p>Knowledge of or experience in International Benefits preferred but not required</p><p>SKILLS</p><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p><p>Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills</p><p>Good problem solving and time management skills</p><p>Ability to use prudent judgment and discretion in handling confidential client information</p><p>Ability and motivation to work independently</p><p>Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork</p><p>Fluent in any foreign language is a plus</p><p>Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Power Point and Excel</p><p>We are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees' needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
