As a Benefit Analyst you will play an integral part in a benefits department that offers excellent staff member service and vendor management.

Reporting to the Director of Benefits located in Calabasas Hills, CA, you will support the benefits administration for a 2 billion dollar company with over 200 full service restaurants and more than 40,000 staff members.

  • Compliance Focused: you like to keep up to date on the never ending changes in laws and regulations related to benefits.

Here's what you will get to do:

  • Respond to several complex staff member and management inquiries a day, reviewing individual data around benefit programs and billing, resolving any issues and/or concerns.

  • Review benefit deduction and billing reports, validate data and ensure required benefit premiums are collected from staff members.

  • Collaborate with a variety of carriers, vendors and consultants to ensure that their records are accurate and the company's objectives are met.

  • Process plan funding and payments to our benefit plan vendors.

  • Create and run monthly benefit reports for review with leadership team, monitoring benefit plan enrollment.

  • Administer leave of absence and ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements.

  • Assist with preparation of benefit communications and presentations to our staff members.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.

  • 3+ years of functional business experience working in a complex enterprise company.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels in a fast paced environment, with a high level of professionalism, adaptability and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel.

Preferences:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Prior experience with an HRIS/HCM and Benefits Administration system.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of government regulations regarding benefit programs.
