EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 year in hotel customer service role

  • Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred

  • Valid Driver's License

Goals/Objectives of the Lockton Development Program * Understand the complete Lockton consulting service cycle Gain knowledge around the various roles/responsibilities of the Lockton team * Develop technical knowledge around each line of insurance coverage * Provide broad administrative support to client service team * Utilize the Lockton tools to produce client deliverables * Begin a long-term rewarding career with growth potential in business insurance Essential Duties: * Provide and coordinate support to unit for individually assigned projects as well as administrative support for the practice as needed. * Work with appropriate Account Manager (AM) to identify responsibilities on each assigned account, begin to develop account ownership of various tasks and service items as directed by Account Manager/Account Executive (AE)/Director. * Respond to client requests for service/assistance within one working day of the request, at the direction of the AM/AE/Director. * Assist with building content with teams in preparation for client meetings. * Request renewals from carriers for all lines of coverage and insure delivery in a timely manner. * Assist with all marketing efforts as assigned by AM, including development of Request for Proposal (RFP), gathering of data, carrier follow-up, and production of marketing exhibits. * Assist in producing employee communications (newsletters, bulletins, overhead presentations, etc.) as assigned by AM. * Coordinate and assist with open enrollment meetings. * Develop ownership for clients by familiarizing self with contracts, booklets, communications materials, administrative materials, company cost sharing strategy and benefit schedules. * Maintain client documents such as SPDs/certificates, internal reporting, and renewal and implementation paperwork at the direction of the AM. * Assist with commission reporting and reconciliation with the AE/Director. * Assist in requests and preparations for client 5500 filings. * Manage open items and practice proactive follow-up on all outstanding issues by communicating status of each to AM/AE/Directors. * Assist Producers and Directors with prospect work/RFPs as capacity dictates. QUALIFICATIONS: * Student planning to graduate in the spring of 2020 or professionals with 1-3 years' business experience * Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher in field of study * Excellent computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet expertise; familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel preferred * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Strong organization and time management capabilities * Multi-task oriented * Leadership experience * Passion for customer service * Excellent attitude and work ethic * Professional demeanor in a corporate environment * Ability to speak in public * Cover letter must be included with application and resume for consideration Lockton is known throughout the insurance industry as an entrepreneurial, progressive and successful insurance broker.
