Join Seneca's stellar multi-disciplinary team.The Behavioral Interventionist designs, implements and monitors behavioral plans for students that are based on thorough assessments and collaboration with Seneca Therapist and team, school staff, and significant others in student's life. Additionally, the Behavioral Interventionist coordinates services if needed at the school sites and provides coaching, modeling and development opportunities to school staff. The Behavioral Interventionist collaboratively provides short-term services to stabilize the family and promote academic and social emotional success for the youth.ABOUT ALL-IN SOCALThe All-In! So Cal program serves youth and families referred by their local school district. The team consist of behavioral interventionists, therapists, and parent partners. Our programs are deeply engaged in conversations and trainings on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in order to bring equity and justice to the youth and families we serve.Responsibilities * Develop Behavioral Intervention Plans. * Form consultation relationships with school staff, including general and special educators and school leadership. * Provide direct interventions to students as appropriate. * Provide non-judgmental, unconditional support to children and families participating in the Seneca Programs. * Work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to plan, manage and supervise students' behavioral plans. * Engage families in the treatment planning process. * Provide strength-based and culturally competent services. * Participate in professional learning communities to enhance practice and create coherence. * Conduct community resource development. * Flexibility to work a family-driven schedule which may include evenings and weekends. * Uphold strict confidentiality of client information.QualificationsREQUIRED* Bachelor's degree. * Ability and willingness to work independently in the community, at school sites, and in the office. * Valid California driver's license and insurable by Seneca's automobile policy. * Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements. * Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.PREFERRED* Experience in working with children who exhibit extremely challenging behaviors and their families. * Experience providing crisis assessment, management, and interventions.SKILLS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE* Strong written and verbal skills, including solid computer skills in Microsoft Office programs. * Strong organizational skills as demonstrated by the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks. * Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and with a diverse population of clients.Schedule * Full-time*
