Summary:# Provides a wide range of behavioral health services to clients; this might include any or all of the following: conducting general biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments; intake assessments; providing therapy based on the needs of the clients, including clients with substance abuse histories; and conducting outpatient groups (including IOP). Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a wide range of presenting problems; assists patients and their families in the resolution of personal and environmental problems attributable to mental or physical disorders which prevent them from achieving their highest level of functioning. Utilizes clinical skills to assess patient and family needs for clinical appropriateness for the setting and establishes plans for effective management of the continuum of care.

Responsible for electronic documentation and tracking of treatment plans and plan reviews. Also assists with case reviews with insurers, admissions and discharge planning.


Master#s degree in related field (Social Work, Mental Health counseling, Marriage and Family therapy)# # Licensure: Must be independently licensed in RI (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or licensed psychologist). # Experience:

Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Behavioral Health preferred. Utilization review and Inpatient Behavioral Health experience preferred. Experience and/or training in Addiction/Substance Abuse field preferred.# #

VIEW JOBS 4/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-18T00:00 Reports To: Clinic Director FLSA Status: Exempt Physical Therapist Key Performance Indicators; Clinical Outcomes, Productivity, Billing and Compliance, Patient Satisfaction Responsibilities include the following: * Implements physical therapy intervention based on the plan of care, including: Therapeutic exercise and activity, manual therapy techniques, electrotherapeutic modalities, patient education, functional training in self care and home management, work conditioning and hardening, and supplying durable medical equipment.* * Examines patients to determine appropriate physical therapy evaluation, diagnosis, plan of care and prognosis. Patients are seen for their Initial evaluation within 48 hours of the referral, with same day appointments being available.* * Documents examination, evaluation, diagnosis, plan of care, prognosis, daily progress notes, outcomes and discharge notes in Clinicient EHR, as per the APTAs Guidelines for documentation, the State of RIs Practice Act, Medicare and other payers guidelines.* * Communicates, consults and oversees physical therapist assistants and support staff who provide care to patients, as per Practice Act and payers guidelines.* * Stays actively up to date with the current practices and the research of physical therapy, through continuing education, tertiary education, in-services and independent reading to ensure evidence-based care is provided.* * Records accurate charges in the Electronic Medical Records on the day of service.* * Consults with referral sources and other health care providers regarding diagnosis, plan of care and progress as appropriate to optimize patient care.* * Communicates with potential referral sources and the general public to expand existing business and cultivate new business and increase the communitys knowledge of the role of physical therapy in health care. * Assists in maintaining a clean and neat treatment area. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Education/Experience: Masters or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
