What You'll Do:
Works under clinical supervision and requires considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and program techniques & is a member of a sex offender team.
As a member of a sex offender team, is responsible for sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders
Completes screenings and assessments
Conducts group & sex offender interventions as prescribed on the individual in-program assessment using evidence based correctional program intervention strategies within their scope of practice and as directed by supervision
Writes reports and maintains necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of federal, state and local agencies
Enters documentation in electronic health record of all inmate encounters and contacts
Completes miscellaneous forms and reports as needed per policy and protocol
Completes transfer and discharge summaries
Consults with other institution staff regarding the sex offender caseload, inmate's institutional adjustment and service needs
Attends meetings of sex offender program supervision
Attends in-service training and workshops for professional development
Pay ranges from approximately $52,000 to $70,300 Starting pay will be based on qualifications, education, experience, and location.
DRC is a "qualifying employer" for purposes of the federal Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness program.
