Therapeutic care includes: Conducting psychosocial assessments, conducting individual, group and family therapy sessions, participating in the interdisciplinary treatment and transition and discharge process. Demonstrates actions and attitudes that contribute to the critical success factors of the organization (i.e. Best place to work, most extraordinary experience, superior outcomes, financial success for reinvestment, valued as a faith-based organization, and a growing organization vital to the community
1.Initiates and implements complete, comprehensive psychosocial assessments
2.Provides individual, group, and family therapies to clients and their families
3.Participates in and interdisciplinary treatment team to propose and develop strategies and interventions that would promote excellent therapeutic outcomes
4.Assesses and intervenes in cases of suspected/disclosed child/adult neglect/abuse issues Documents services provided and disseminates information/reports to community referral sources and agencies, i.e., DJJ, DSS, HHS, APS, CPS, LCC, etc
5.Coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, referral sources, and community resources aftercare and supportive services to ensure a successful discharge planning process. Promotes positive patient-family-community relations
6.Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to diffuse psychotic and/or behavioral crises to ensure client, unit, and staff safety an stability
7.Other duties as assigned
Master's Degree in Social Work /Counseling or equivalent Master's Degree in a recognized health field
1 year experience preferred
LGSW/LGPC in the State of Maryland
