  • Assist with intake process with new clients into program.
  • Communicates with staff either verbally or in written communication logs, responsible for detail client logs.
  • Listens to clients concerning all areas of treatment, maintains safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
  • Coordinates activities including lectures, recreation, and meetings.
  • Mandatory bed checks conducted as required per department, complete bed-check sheet for shift reporting.
  • Attends shift change, Team meetings and Company meetings.
  • Ensures client schedule is being followed daily.
  • Assisting with interventions with clients.
  • Follows objectives of treatment plans.
  • Monitor medication line.
  • Transports clients to meetings and recreation.
  • Responsible for conducting searches of clients when they return back to the facility.
  • Monitors treatment for necessary hygiene and medical needs.
  • Upholds Therapeutic Boundaries and Staff Code of Ethics.
  • Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides input.
  • Distributing client snacks as needed.
  • Trains new staff on unit, program, and milieu.
  • Helps with upkeep of facility.
  • Assists clients with obtaining a sponsor.
  • Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. CRS certification preferred. Valid drivers license. Drug and Alcohol/ Mental Health experience. Facilitating process groups and family sessions.

Technical Competencies:

Capable of role modeling to the clients. Helps to maintain a strong clinical program. Staff able to work together to effectively meet the needs of the clients. Maintains positive relationship with clients. Complete required trainings mandatory trainings hours. Strong skills in D&A and mental health treatment. A working knowledge of HIPAA, Licensing, DDAP, DHS, and CARF regulations.

VIEW JOBS 11/16/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-14T00:00 Primary Responsibilities: * Provide care to ill/injured guests and employees within scope of practice using company medical protocols, policies, and standing orders. * Share essential information regarding guest and employee incidents through documentation and verbal communication. * Respond to park emergencies both in First Aid station and in the park. * Document treatment/care provided on appropriate forms. * Maintain a safe a work environment and identify safety hazards. * Initiate accident investigations for work-related and ride-related incidents. * Assist with opening/closing of First Aid Station. * Maintain a professional appearance that meets grooming and safety standards. * Perform miscellaneous functions as required, including but not limited to, general maintenance, organization, and appearance of the First Aid station, restocking of supplies, cleaning treatment areas, and contacting proper support units as needed. Requirements and Competencies: * Current Pennsylvania EMT Certification required. * One to two years actively affiliated with a pre-hospital 911 ambulance service and/or hospital ER tech experience and remains active after hire preferred * Candidates will need to provide a reference list of current pre-hospital emergency service providers or EMT/ER employers to verify active status. * Current American Heart Association/ American Red Cross CPR and AED certification. * Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), lifting and reporting unsafe situations. * Ability to act as a first responder to medical emergencies in the park and be comfortable leading the scene. * Strong written/verbal communication skills. * Ability to handle conflict situations professionally and with courtesy. * Must be able to work flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Position requires the ability to carry out physical activities including fast walking/running in hot, humid weather, stooping, bending, lifting, and climbing. This position requires physical durability and may require the ability to climb high staircases on attractions. These activities must be done while carrying an equipment backpack. * Theme park experience preferred. * Must be willing to comply with and ensure team members comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards * Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timeline Seaworld Parks Langhorne PA
