Position Overview Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT's) monitor and assist clients in the residential milieu, lead activities designed to help the residents adjust to living in a community setting and assist the residents in gaining the skills needed to manage their eating disorder. BHT's play an integral role in the day-to-day function of the clients' experience.

The Emily Program has Adolescent and Adult Residential facilities in St Paul and Minneapolis. Schedules Days: 6am-2:30pm or 8am-4:30pm, Evenings: 2-10:30pm or 4pm-12:30am and Overnights: 12-8:30am Full time, benefits eligible is 0.8 FTE (32 hours a week) with every other weekend required Part time is 0.4 FTE (20 hours a week) with every other weekend required How BHT's Empower Recovery Partners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programming Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreation Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in charts Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction.

Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checks Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's Degree required or one year of relevant experience Must have valid driver's license and be authorized to drive.
