  • HS/GED or Bachelors level applicants

We are offering an exciting full-time opportunity for an individual to join our team as a Behavioral Health Counselor and Clinical Advisor. This position requires an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). If you have a passion for service excellence…we want to hear from you! Job Description: Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff and/or students in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development. Provides group and individual mentoring, coaching, and support of team members' clinical performance, in the areas of clinical competence and quality management. Collaborates with managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff and/or students. Coordinates division-wide trainings, educational events, and annual skills fair. Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery of new staff and/or student orientation activities. Provides clinical guidance to team members on the handling of complex or novel issues. Provides other advisor/consultant services as needed. Provides group, individual and family counseling. Identifies and refers patients to appropriate community resources for follow-up care. Systematically and continually assesses the patient's mental status in collaboration with the patient/family/providers. Provides assessment, planning, counseling, and education services for patients. Provides clinical supervision and assessment of behavioral health staff and/or students. Develops and provides services related to the orientation and continuing education of staff.
