Job Description:

Reliatus Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist/Counselor to join our dynamic team in Murray, Utah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling, with experience in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients of diverse backgrounds and ages.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, strengths, and treatment goals.

2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' unique needs and preferences, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

3. Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions.

4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.

5. Monitor clients' progress in therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

7. Adhere to all regulatory requirements and professional standards of practice governing behavioral health counseling services.

8. Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in the field of mental health.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

2. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Utah.

3. Demonstrated experience providing counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, and families in a behavioral health setting.

4. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to clients' needs.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with clients from diverse backgrounds.

6. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of client care.

7. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation and other relevant software applications.

8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients' schedules.
